POS Machine Response Codes
Response codes are standardized numeric or alphanumeric messages returned by a POS (Point of Sale) terminal after a transaction attempt. These codes indicate the status of the transaction whether it was approved, declined, or encountered an error. They help merchants and payment processors quickly understand the outcome and take appropriate action.
